Leaf Cross Health is a medical marijuana dispensary operating out of Nelson BC and helping patients to order and receive their medicine in a safe, discreet and legal way. iaminawe designed and developed a unique e-commerce website and solution that enabled them to connect with their patient database.
The website had a short timeframe and specific user registration workflow requirements in order to comply with Health Canada’s regulations. The site was built from a Drupal Commerce Kickstart base and was customized heavily to achieve the projects objectives.
For guests the site shows the different products available but they cannot be purchased.
Once a user has submitted their documentation and have been approved by an admin, they can then login and order products through the site.
The site also includes several other key features including
* Full stock and inventory management system to ensure that product ordered is available
* E-commerce reporting across sites, products and orders
* Easy to add new products and manage existing ones
* An internal user points and referral system where existing customers can earn site credits by referring other users that make purchases on the site
* Integration with Canada Post including live shipping quotes
* Free shipping for orders over a certain value.
* Email newsletter signup and sending with mailchimp
* A blog for sharing news and media
After 2 years of successful operation, the Leaf Cross site was moved over to shopify to better integrate with their first physical location.
